Welcome to District 11NR

Since 1939, the men and women of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary have volunteered millions of hours in support of the Coast Guard and the recreational boating public. We are the uniformed civilian volunteer arm of the Coast Guard, currently consisting of 29,000 volunteers who donate our time and expertise serving in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and Guam.
District 11 Northern Region serves Northern California, Nevada and Utah. Our mission is to contribute to the safety and security of our citizens, ports, waterways and coastal regions, as directed
by the
United States Coast Guard.

We balance our missions between two areas:
-
Recreational Boating Safety - consisting of our many boating safety
classes, distributing boating safety information to the public, providing
free vessel safety checks, and doing safety patrols on land, water and in
the air.
-
Support of Maritime Homeland Security and other maritime safety
challenges that have emerged in recent years.
We've loaded our website with information about our service in support of
the Coast Guard, as well as with tools and other useful information for
Auxiliary members. We didn't forget the fun things, either, so be sure to
take a look around all the areas on our web site.
|
We are always looking for active new volunteers to wear the
Coast Guard Auxiliary Uniform and share with us our proud traditions and missions.
Why not join us as we serve the boating public and our national security?
